Welcome to our blog! We are the team behind ”Divya’s Tasty Recipes”. I am Divya – recipe developer, food photographer and author of this blog. This is Prakash – my husband, chief taste tester and the technical back bone of this blog. We lived in USA for few years and now we live in London, UK. We have 2 kids- a daughter and a son. They are the main reason why I try and cook different recipes. Come and be a part of our culinary journey!
About our blog- Divya’s Tasty Recipes
This is my recipe journal, where I share recipes that I have tried and tested in my kitchen. I am a South Indian, so majority of the recipes here will be South Indian, while I will also post North Indian and restaurant style recipes. Definitely there is going to be a lot of Vegetarian and Vegan recipes here, no doubt about it. You can also find non vegetarian recipes like Chicken, lamb / goat, egg and sea food recipes here. But we do not eat Pork or Beef. Then comes my love for baking, you will find basic baking recipes including cakes, muffins, breads, egg less bakes and so on. As we have lived away from India for almost 6-7 years, you can find those influences in my cooking. I will also post some international recipes in this blog that I specially make for my children.
Most of the recipes I have shared here are my own. There are some recipes which I have collected from my mom, grandma and friends. Sometimes I try few recipes inspired from other bloggers but will give due credit to them (with a link back). So when other bloggers try my recipe, I do expect the same. If you are not a blogger, a feedback or comment will be motivating to me.
I use Nikon D5100 with 50 mm lens for taking pictures for the blog. I am still a beginner in food photography and I am taking baby steps to improve my photography.
